David Roberts

David Roberts was a Scottish painter of the Orientalism movement. His oil paintings and watercolor sketches are known for depicting landscapes of such places as Syria, Egypt, and Jerusalem. His magnum opus, The Holy Land, Syria, Idumea, Arabia, Egypt, and Nubia, was published in 1842-1849.
