German 🇩🇪 1880 - 1938

Ernst Ludwig Kirchner was a German expressionist painter and printmaker who played a key role in establishing the Expressionism movement. During World War II, the Nazis deemed his art inferior and destroyed upwards of 600 of his paintings.
