Henry Lyman Saÿen

Henry Lyman Saÿen was an American scientist who also made a name for himself as an abstract painter of the Fauvist movement. In his scientific career, he pioneered the design and patent of self-regulating x-ray tubes. He spent time in Paris with his wife and was a student of Henri Matisse.
