Jimmie Durham

Jimmie Durham is an American sculptor based in Europe. His sculptures challenge preconceived notions of architecture and material. A number of his works also go against the conventional, stereotypical representations of Native Americans in art. Durham has had retrospectives at the Hammer Museum, the Whitney Museum, and the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
