Lovis Corinth

Lovis Corinth was a German painter and printmaker whose later work is notable because it combines elements of Impressionism and Expressionism. He painted portraits, historical scenes, and landscapes. After a stroke in 1911, his style changed and he started adopting elements of Expressionism that he used to dislike.
