Mario Torroella

Mario Torroella is a Cuban-American painter and self-taught artist. He studied architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and had his first solo exhibition in 1962 at the University of Puerto Rico. Many of Torroella’s paintings explore his own feelings of alienation regarding his home country of Cuba.
