Austrian 🇦🇹 1844 - 1926
Olga Wisinger-Florian was an avant-garde Impressionist who lived and worked in Austria. Her painting subjects are mostly landscapes and flower still life. She was part of a loose group of Austrian artists who were called ‘Mood Impressionists’ in the 1870s and 1880s.
Olga trained as a concert pianist, but was forced to retire from that line of work after a hand injury.
