Paul Nash was a British painter, photographer, and writer. He was an official war artist for England during World War I, and many of his works draw from his first-hand experiences in the trenches. He also painted landscapes, and his art is considered by many to be a key influence in the growth of Modernism in England. He also worked as a war artist in World War II
