Pierre-Auguste Renoir was a groundbreaking French painter. He is credited with pioneering the Impressionist style, and organized the first Impressionist exhibition in collaboration with other artists such as Manet and Pissarro. His works are famous for their vibrant color and masterful use of light. Women, particularly the female nude, were often the subject of his paintings and exhibit soft yet naturalistic elements.


Renoir had a talent for singing and took lessons growing up. He was forced to quite due to his family's financial hardship.


The pain passes, but the beauty remains.
