Kamisaka Sekka was a Japanese artist who belonged to the traditional and respected Rinpa school of art. Although his paintings and wood block prints contain traditional subject matter, he infused modern elements into his works after a visit to Glasgow. He was heavily influenced by Art Nouveau. Momoyogusa (A World of Things) is his masterpiece and contains 60 works.
